The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The staff was wonderful, when I needed something I called dow to the front desk and they had it for me. The location was great, an easy walk to town, all the shops, store and gondola. If you have groceries it's a tad bit of a walk uphill so I suggest timing the shopping with the shuttle service which stops from 11:30-1

I have skied in many resorts in Europe and North Amerika, and Whistler-Blackcomb is on top of my list. The view, the variety of runs, the lifts, the grooming are all excellent. I will visit again before the end of this season and bring my two grandsons with me.

WE always try to eat at Araxi when in Whistler - been a favorite dining spot of ours for over 20 years. Spring time in Whistler has walking, hiking, skiing and is less crowded than high season. Nice finishing touch to the our ski year. The views from the top Harmony and Symphony chairs are the best!

Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Our accommodation was clean and good location but lacking in some amenities.
Depending on where you stay it can be quite a walk to the lifts.
If you want a more quiet stay go to the Blackcomb side. However most of the restaurants, shops etc. are in the village.

Over 4 days we enjoyed the convenience of shopping and skiing nearby. A longer time is needed to explore the mountain more and the wide variety of eateries. The opportunity is also available to bike or hike but we did not have sufficient time.

Ski terrain is great, including side- and off-piste, however lift ticket cost is way over the top at CAD 250 per day (compare that to European superresorts like Les Trois Vallees which are 40% the cost).
And the snow quality is unreliable - 23/24 was the worst season even according to the locals, I was just lucky enough to get fresh snow at the start of my week.
Won't be coming back to Whistler as the snow quality is highly unreliable, will go to Utah or Canadian Rockies in the future where the snow is more reliable (and tickets are cheaper) or Europe where it's much cheaper to ski!
Whistler would have to halve the cost of lift tickets for me or my family to come back.

Visited at the end of the season.
Visited at the end of the season. No snow at village level, but there was still powder/snow at the top - 5-10 inches news during our trip. The ticket prices are still way too high, but if you can pre-purchase early in the season, it's not too bad... Due to the season being not too great (snow wise) the owners should reduce ticket prices. Nevertheless, the demand is still high, especially at the weekend. The village supermarkets now offer very reasonably priced items (cheaper than Victoria!) and there are still good value restaurants around the town. The museum's and galleries etc + shops are great for non skiers.
The view from the room of the gondola station for Blackcomb was great. The easy access to Whistler village on foot or by bus was a bonus. The daytime activity, available through the hotel back door was a very pleasant surprise. The nighttime activity was positive and any noise from revellers was not heard through the large insulated windows. Finally, the black bear seen from a safe distance near to the front door was delightful. The only one seen wild during three weeks in Canada.
We enjoy the peace and quiet of the location of the hotel. The room was well equipped with Microwave, kettle and toaster. We enjoyed a couple meals on the patio overlooking the lake. The shuttle bus was not available when we requested a ride from Whistler Village; however, the hotel offered to reimburse us for the taxi fare.
Highly recommended place! Very cozy and comfortable with attention to small details. The stuff is professional, fast and super friendly.
We’ve been in most hotels in Whistler including fairmont but the vibe of Clique was unbeatable.
Definitely our regular spot from now. Thanks for having us!
Our first visit to whistler as none skier’s it was great for a couple of nights, we particularly enjoyed the gondola ride. The hotel is in a Good location easy access to everything but not right in the middle of the village so quiet at night.
Bed a bit small but comfortable
I stayed this hotel for snowboarding. Location was closed to Whistler Gondola and village.
I have no complain about location.
Room was nice and clean. But pillow was little bit smell which i was not happy.
Bathroom was clean and facility was good
The hotel was in a great location. It was older than some of the other hotels but the price was good, the front staff were friendly and the bathroom/kitchen appliances were good quality.
I would stay there again when visiting Whistler for skiing.
Location, facility for skis/ snowboard and size of the room. The hotel was detached from whistler village so loud noises from the bars/ pubs could be avoided. The room also had views towards the mountains.
The location was a quick drive to Blackcomb and Whistler Village with Creekside just a little further down the road. We love the space and the house was very comfortable for our Spring Break Ski Vacation!
excellent position of the hotel closed to sky area and Whistler village
Room large and very confortable and clean
I appreciate also the kitchen in the room
Spa great
Staff amazing
Overall a very pleasant stay. 1st time in Whistler and 1st time staying at Aava Hotel.
Woukd have been nice to have access to movie channels in our room. Just basic cable choices.
Great location and awesome hotel! I would say the best bang for your buck hotel in Whistler! Awesome facilities and close to everything! The rooms were well maintained and clean.
Very comfortable room with good facilities.
Very quiet room and we faced the front of hotel.
Good around facilities close to hotel.
Easy bus ride into Whistler Village.
Great fun had by all 8 of us staying for a few days at the Fairmont. Whistler is pricey. Staying at The Fairmont is a great home base for all that Whistler has to offer.
the hotel is conveniently located in the Whistler village, large clean room with kitchen, shower and tub. parking underground. it’s very nice and a good price.
